I came to the Cross at Calvary
Lonely and Confused
Lost and Condemned
Living but Contaminated with Sin

You Looked at me with the eyes of love and mercy
with a heart that felt my pains

You took my pains and gave me Joy unspeakable
You took my death and gave me Your life
You my shame and guilt that I may become guiltless
You beacame poor, that I might become rich
You took my rejection and make me accepted

Thank you Lord Jesus for the divine acceptance
Thank you Lord Jesus for the divine exchange
Thank you for stepping down to my lowly estate
Thank you for saving me
